Stablesbrae Livery Yard is a purpose built livery yard situated only 15 minutes from Aberdeen, just 1/2 mile from the A93, Aberdeen to Banchory (South Deeside) Road. The yard is easily accessed from Banchory, Stonehaven, Culter and the AWPR.
Under the personal supervison of onsite owners Robin and Karen Stewart, who have a wealth of equestrian experience, Stablesbrae offers flexible solutions focused on you and your horses needs.
Livery includes assisted DIY, DIY and grass livery with horses benefiting from all year round turnout in a small mixed herd. We are happy to tailor packages to suit different needs.
The main stable block, situated in a light and airy purpose built American Barn, consists of 15 large stables all with automatic drinkers, separate secure tack room, feed room, a fully equipped tea room and toilet facilities.
Separate summer and winter grazing means we can guarantee all year round turnout.
Facilities include a flood lit school, a large covered wash bay, electric fenced sand paddock for injury/restricted grazing, separate isolation block and large parking area for client's trailers or lorries.
Durris Forest, Clune Wood and Warren Wood are all on our doorstep with hours or stunning hacking available directly from the yard.
Livery includes shavings and quality haylage which is made by us onsite to ensure its suitability. Haylage is fed ad-lib in the field during the winter months.
Cover can be provided for vet or farrier visits by prior arrangement.
Our small, friendly yard ensures you have the time and space to enjoy your horse in a peaceful and supportive atmosphere.
Social events are often organised during the year including BBQs, a Boxing Day hack and fun yard events.
